Our Roots
The Intercommunity Counseling Center has been meeting personal and community needs for over 30 years. Originally established as the Interchurch Counseling Center, a recent name change represents our goal to serve all members of the community in need.
The Staff
Staff therapists bring a variety of educational and life experiences to the service they provide. The staff is composed of Masters and Doctoral level students, as well as licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (M.F.T.) and a Psychologist.
The Therapy Session
We offer individual, couple/marital, and family therapy sessions, which are typically scheduled weekly and are fifty minutes in length. We also offer play therapy for children. Group therapy sessions last approximately ninety minutes. ICC therapists will provide documentation to the courts for mandated service. All counseling is confidential. Therapy is available in English and Spanish.
Integrated Therapy Program
Emerging from the historic Jedio-Christian convern for wholeness and well being, ICC provides a caring service to meet the mental, emotional and spiritual beliefs of all persons. Therapists respect the imporitance of religion, but do not impose religious beliefs.
Growth Groups
Most groups focus on one issue, meet weekly for one to two months, and are scheduled by the group leaders. Stress Management, and Women's Support are examples of these groups. Call the center for dates and times.
